# Can’t Edit Attribute Terms

 * I am trying to edit one attribute term. I navigate to Prodcuts > Attributes >
   Configure Terms . There I am trying to simply change a term that is incorrectly
   titled “red” to “Red.” However, when I click “edit” I get the error message, “
   You need a higher level of permission. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this
   item.”
 * It has persisted for some time already.
 * How can I edit this attribute? I would rather not manually change the attribute
   on every item as there are many products with this attribute.

 * What’s the role of your user when you try to change the term? “Administrator”?
 * Or maybe your installed any new plugins for that function?

 * Yes, I am the administrator. And I have not set up any other accounts besides
   administrator either.
 * I have Woocommerce. As far as I know this is the only plugin that may be related.
