Can’t download plugin from WordPress.org

    There’s something wrong with the download. It keeps failing. I cannot download the plugin from the WordPress plugins page.

    I cannot recreate the issue on any of my test or live sites running the plugin. I am assuming that you are able to install and activate other plugins without any issue. This could be pretty difficult to track down but I am happy to troubleshoot it with you.

    Do you mind providing more information about your environment (WordPress Version, Active Plugin List with versions, Theme with version, PHP version, and host)?

    I’m talking about from the repo itself. Clicking the download button here on the page. I’ve never, ever seen this before in my 18-years of working with WordPress. I’ll try it again today. Maybe there’s some issue with WordPress themselves, I don’t know.

    Seems to be resolved now. Weird!!!!! Last night it wouldn’t fully download.

    Oh yeah, that is weird! Glad it is working now. I’ll dig around the WP Slack and see if anybody has reported any issues around that same topic.
