+1. Woo Helper had this problem after WP 4.5 also. Yoast needs to address.
@dooza, this problem should be fixed in Yoast SEO 3.2.4. Can you update and confirm, please?

@tacoverdo oddly it has worked on 2 out of 4 sites.
@dooza: Can you please clear your (opcode/mem)cache and try again?
Updating to 3.2.4 hasn’t worked for any of my sites.
And what’s the point of these notifications anyway? What is the click thru rate on these? Being generous I’d guess maybe 1/1000 click on the “click here to find out what’s new.”
Yoast SEO is a nice plugin but with all the annoying notifications it’s beginning to feel a bit spammy.
Just remove the notifications entirely. People who care enough to read about the small, inconsequential changes that happen with the seemingly daily plugin updates will still find them.
@tjc4 no need for that tone. It’s a bug, we’ve already acknowledged that. It shouldn’t show for minor updates at all. In 3.2.4 you should only have to dismiss it once…
But it’s not working Joost. All my sites still show it. Come on man. Fix it please. It’s very irritating. Also, they show 3.2.3 message still too.
Eric: as said, we’re trying to fix it. And we’re on 3.2.4 now.
Got it. I’m just letting you know that 3.2.4 did NOT fix the problem and the message with 3.2.4 installed still shows 3.2.3.
Ugh that’s REALLY weird 🙂 trust me, those messages annoy the shit out of me too 😉
Glad we had this chat. Thanks for attending to it. Pleased to meet you.
