    Hi,

I use the wp function wp_insert_user() to create Subscribers and have set both “Skip 2FA Onboarding” and “Require Two Factor” in the User Groups settings for Subscribers but any new user is asked to “Onboard” and setup 2FA.

Even if I create the user in WP I have the same issue. Once changing the users password from the notification email the user is asked to setup 2FA.

I need to turn this off for a small subset of users to my site. Is there a way to do it without turning of 2FA for everyone ?

    Many thanks
    Martyn

  • Hi Martyn,

What version of the iTSec (Pro) plugin are you using?

Are you saying that the “Require Two Factor” setting seems to be overruling the “Skip 2FA Onboarding” setting ?
