I’m not sure I understand the question; could you please elaborate? Is the problem that the user switch menu item doesn’t disappear when you uninstall the user switching plugin? Or are you trying to remove the item without deleting the plugin? Is this item in the Toolbar (horizontal menu at the top) or in the admin menu (vertical menu on the left side)?
This is for the toolbar for the horizontal menu at the top and neither option works. Cant delete the menu item with the plugin installed or fully deleted with the latter part being the biggest issue. With the plugin fully deleted, I would want to delete it entirely but the Toolbar Editor tells me: “Sorry, but you cannot delete a default item. Would you like to hide it instead?”
And it’s obviously not a default item, hopefully, that brings you clarity? Thanks for the swift reply
Normally, a Toolbar item will only appear in the Toolbar while the plugin that created it is active. Are you saying that the “User Switch” Toolbar item stays visible even when the “WP User Switch” plugin is uninstalled? Technically, that should be impossible. Are you sure that the plugin was really deleted? Could it be that another user switching plugin was installed at the same time?
In any case, it sounds like this is not related to the free version of Admin Menu Editor. Toolbar Editor is only available in the Pro version. It is against WordPress.org rules to use these forums to provide support for paid plugins, so please use this contact form for any issues related to the Pro version.
Yes…that is what I am saying, it is indeed possible because the plugin is both uninstalled and deleted
I’ve received your contact form message, but I’m getting an error saying “Recipient address rejected: Address does not exist” when I try to reply to it via email. Could you please double-check the address, or resend it with a different address?
