• The delete link on my plugin page redirects me to my homepage and I can’t delete any plugins from the admin ui?
Its’ a new install, so I tried deleting the entire install including tables/database but it still does the same when re-installed. I’ve done a search on the forum but not found anything yet.
I’ve not seen this before, anyone have any idea?

I can’t delete any of the plugins using the ‘delete’ text button which sits below the plugin name in the plugins list.

    HELLO DOLLY
    activate|edit|delete

It acts as a link to the homepage in the exact same manner as the ‘visit site’ option top l/h corner. When I click the delete button, it just takes me straight to the homepage. I’ve tried uploading a different plugin and deleting it and it replicates the bug also.

This sounds like a server issue. Have you checked your site’s error and access logs?

No, will do tomorrow. I have other installations running 3.4.2 on this server though. Although they have been updated to 3.4.2. rather than being fresh installs. I’ll update here tomorrow. Thanks Esmi.

Do you have the wp mail to plugin? If so, try disabling.

Yes, the same thing is happening to me – I cannot delete users and plugins using the delete button (it sometimes takes me to a 404, sometimes just does nothing), but it works when I use the bulk delete option.

Also, some other network admin actions result in 404s – such as when I try to access some plugin settings (e.g. some of backwpup’s tabs).

I have a multisite installation and I just upgraded to 3.6. Any advice on where should I look to fix this? I tried disabling all the themes and plugins and it still didn’t help.

I’m getting the same issue. I can’t delete users nor plugins from the admin panel. Swapped themes and it works but ONLY on the default wordpress theme, I’ve tried 4 others from fresh and it removes all functionality from the delete buttons. Weird.

I have the same exact problem with a multi site installation, tried everything I could but nothing, even if i switch theme nothing happens.

I’m running the latest version on WP and I keep everything uptodate.
I haven’t tried to disable all the plugins because I’m on a production site. I’ll try on my local copy and see if it works out.
