I can’t delete any of the photos I’ve uploaded. When I click Delete Photo, a box comes up that says “Are you Sure” Ok or cancel. After I click Ok, it takes me to a white page with this text:

Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.

Also, I’ve disabled both video and music uploads and yet links to them still exist in the WordPress toolbar.

    My website is:

I was also wondering which folder does all the uploads go to. I’ve been browsing all over my site’s ftp and can’t find them. Thanks in advance for your help.

The first one, we couldn’t duplicate off-hand. We’ll need to look into this further. I’ll update this thread asap.

The second is a known issue. We are working on this.

All the uploads are standard WordPress attachments and go to the wp-content/uploads folder and can be also seen in the Media Gallery.

Ah I found them, I swear I did not see them in that upload folder before. Thanks for pointing that out. As for the first issue, let me know if you need any information from me to help figure it out. It’s a new site running on a VPS with NGIX HTTP server.

If you are talking about –
Then please note that its not opening at the moment. There is a redirect loop error.

Please use a service like pastin or to share your config.

Also, if you can share a URL on which you are getting issue, it will be great.

Looks like issue is related to www to non-www redirection.

Your site is working fine on – (non-www domain)

I also see media files are working properly on –

You can check image-url which is×640.jpg

On server you will be able to locate that file in /wp-content/uploads/2013/03

Files are stored in /wp-content/uploads/ like normal wordpress attachment. This is what makes other CDN, image-optimiser plugin works with BuddyPress-Media seamlessly!

For your www redirection issue, you may use my other config –

Thanks a lot for your advice on the redirection issue, now works correctly without issue. I was also able to find all those uploaded images in the upload folder. The problem remains with deleting photos from your personal media gallery. Hopefully the latest update fixed this, but I don’t know yet since that updates breaks my site.

    Latest Nginx config:

The problem with deleting photos still persists. Here’s a screen shot on what it looks like:

I’ve tried disabling every other plugin besides buddypress and buddypress media, the same thing happens.

I just noticed that I can’t delete anything from Activity Steam either, I get the same exact error. Any ideas?

Edit: Problem disappeared after disabling BP Media.

Edit2: I deactivated and deleted all files of BP Media and re-downloaded + installed it back. The problem is still there, maybe it’s something in the database? I don’t want to remove the image associations with the users on the site.

Please upgrade to rtMedia 3.x for new functionality.

    It might fix your issue.
