Support » Plugin: Advanced Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce » Can’t Delete or Update Quantity in Cart

  • Resolved purplegirldiana

I set up a bulk discount rule based on category. The Advanced Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce plugin calculates the discounts correctly in the cart and on the product pages. However, with the plugin activated, it is impossible to update quantities or delete items from the cart if there is more than one item in the cart or if there is one item in the cart with a quantity greater than 1. If I turn the rule off, the cart works normally, but then of course, the discounts are not applied.

You can recreate the problem by clicking on one of the products, adding at least two items to the cart, and then trying to delete an item or modify the quantity of an item in the cart. The link provided is to a category page that I have just added a couple of items to in order to test the e-commerce functions before adding the rest of the items. Also, I have turned “Show Bulk Table inside Product page” off, but the plugin is calculating the prices correctly on the product pages.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It’s a conflict with another plugin which modifies cart items too.
You should turn on debugbar and send us report/json file.
    Please, check this article.

    thanks, Alex

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your quick reply! I just uploaded the system report via the support link in the article you referred me to. For anyone who is following this, here are some additional troubleshooting steps I’ve taken:

I tried disabling every plugin except WooCommerce and Advanced Dynamic Pricing, and the problem still occurs. The cart can be updated normally if I disable Advanced Dynamic Pricing.

I did notice something interesting, however. If the debug bar is enabled and I am logged in as admin, I discovered that I can update the cart one time before the ability to update the cart stops working. If I then either reload the page or click on “Refresh” in the debug bar, I can once again update the cart one time, and then the cart can’t be updated after that unless I reload the page or click “Refresh” again. If I’m not logged in as admin, then there is no ability to update the cart at all, as described in my previous post.
