I have the same issue.
If i want to delete an old backup from Backups page, after i submit OK to confirm the delete, the page is refreshed and the Backup i have selected to delete still appear in this list.
What can we do ?

as i say in first post, the file name of saved files is like:
backup_backup_Û±Û³Û¹Û´-Û°Û±-Û²Ûµ_Û±Ûµ-Û³Ûµ-Û°Û³.tar.gz
(i think this is because of installing persian wordpress)
and can’t delete old backup files.

BackWpup uses the WordPress date_i18n() function to internationlizize the date settings. I think i must remove that and use the php default.
