Can’t Delete Hello World Post, It Keeps Coming Back As A Draft Post

    Hi guys (and gals), i have a website with the default Hello World post as a draft post, when i delete it and permanently remove it, it appears back in drafts. i have tried cleaning the database, tried adding a new user, changing the post author to the new user then deleting the new user and all post, and it keeps coming back, any ideas?

    @stephenturner,
    Delete your post from draft and then it goes to the trash. Delete it from trash too.
    If you have done it already then try deactivating all plugins that you have installed on your dashboard. Update your WordPress to latest version.

    Hi, i have done that mate, when you removed it from the trash, it just goes back into the drafts, even if you edit the text in the post and save it, the text is saved, but as soon as you delete it and it goes into drafts, when you open the post, the text isn’t there. I’ve also optimised all my databases, wordpress is the most current version and i have de-activated every plugin, it’s a weird one… 🙂

    I am also surprised and have not encountered any such problems before. Is your problem solved or not?
