Support » Plugin: Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk » Can’t “delete all users from list”

  • Resolved delanthear

    (@delanthear)

    When I attempt to delete all spam users found, nothing happens except for a Javascript error in the console:

    Uncaught ReferenceError: data is not defined
    at ct_delete_all_users (cleantalk-users-checkspam.js:322)
    at HTMLButtonElement.<anonymous> (cleantalk-users-checkspam.js:497)
    at HTMLButtonElement.dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils&ver=5.3.2:3)
    at HTMLButtonElement.r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils&ver=5.3.2:3)

    This is the link it’s complaining about:
    function ct_delete_all_users( e ){

    jQuery(‘.’ + e.target.id).addClass(‘disabled’);
    jQuery(‘.spinner’).css(‘visibility’, ‘visible’);
    jQuery.ajax({
    type: “POST”,
    url: ajaxurl,
    data: data, <——-

    It’s quite a big list, could that be why?

    Hi, that seems to have helped, I think. It seems to be deleting some, but there are a lot of these in the console:

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)
    VM4688:1 POST https://www.talk-it.biz/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true 400 (Bad Request)

    ajax @ load-scripts.php?c=0…e,utils&ver=5.3.2:4
    ct_delete_all_users @ cleantalk-users-checkspam.js:319
    error @ cleantalk-users-checkspam.js:337
    i @ load-scripts.php?c=0…e,utils&ver=5.3.2:2
    fireWith @ load-scripts.php?c=0…e,utils&ver=5.3.2:2
    x @ load-scripts.php?c=0…e,utils&ver=5.3.2:4
    c @ load-scripts.php?c=0…e,utils&ver=5.3.2:4

    It seems to manage 50 users and then stops working I think, but the spinner is still going.

    FYI, we have paid for a full support license for this (It’s for talk-it.biz). However, it’s installed using an incorrect, old email address so we can’t log into your support pages.

    Hello! That seems to be working now.

    However, we have a lot of accounts in our DB which we believe are spam, but your plugin hasn’t picked them up. Could this because we’ve 40000+ odd users and it’s a lot to check?

    Can you manually check these addresses to verify if they are in your lists?
    06@tammega.com
    08lopezpilar@gmail.com

    just to add, I’ve discovered that you can check users directly. This user is in our db and is marked as spam on cleantalk:

    https://cleantalk.org/blacklists/04@tammega.com

    However, it’s not picked up by a find spam users check as all.

    This address is not in lists.
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1enY0A9WDb9APL2GGRwCudmPb622unWwN/view

    The system blacklists address if they have a high spam activity in the closest past. This onу has not.

    Lists are a part of the premium functions. Please, ask all non-plugin questions via email support@cleantalk.org.

    Ah! I understand how it works now. I’ll clean them out via a different method. I suspect they are too old to be added to your lists.

    Hello, @delanthear.

    Please, do the following:
    1. Uncheck the option “Accurate check”.
    2. Specify the date range.
    3. Perform the user search again.

    If the result is the same, let us know.

    Thank you.
