• I am no longer able to customize the appearance of my site. Neither from the Dashboard, nor going to Appearance, Customize. Instead of the customize page I get:
Edit widget: (TS) Social Icons Edit Add (TS) Social Icons
    (TS) Social Icons
I disabled all plugins and cleared cache and cookies, no change.
I set the theme to the default Twenty Seventeen, no change.

This is a church site, and I want to customize the colors to our current season of lent.

  • Unfortunately, without a login user/pass, no one can click on that link and view the issue.

Did you remove the widgets from the widget area? Sounds to me like you’re using some kind of social icon plugin that it breaking something. Can you disable that plugin via FTP/SFTP by renaming the plugin folder?

After peforming a Sucuri scan, it looks like you’re still on php 5.6 and not php 7.2.

It also looks like your host is running an outdated version of Apache server.

And, you haven’t updated WordPress to the latest version either.

    See: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/standrewspickerington.org

Maybe moving off this web server to a better host would be in order too.
