# Can’t create links in posts

 * FOr some reason I can’t create links in posts on the Visual Editors. Whenever
   I click on the link button the popup appears but its blank: [http://i45.tinypic.com/193vq0.jpg](http://i45.tinypic.com/193vq0.jpg)
 * I’ve switched back to the default theme and deactivated all my plugins but its
   still happening. I can add links in the html editor but I would like to fix this
   problem with the visual editor.

 * Have you tried:
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress?

 * yes i’ve tried both of that and its still not working

 * Any help? I tried creating a blog on wordpress.com and it seems to be happening
   there too..

 * Nevermind, found out it was because of my internet security program that was 
   causing the problem..
 * Weird how after I paused it, the link window was able to load.
