[Resolved] Can't copy setting via sql?

  • Hi,

I basicaly go from dev to live environment by copying changed files, copy a mysql dump, replace the paths in the database. This has always worked fine.

This used to work just fine with YARPP v3.x. I’ve just noticed that this doesn’t work anymore (4.0.1). It seems like that the YARPP setting revert back to plugin defaults when I copy the settings via the database. Can you explain why this happens? What changed? How can I fix this?

FYI: The Google Sitemap plugin also behaves this way.

    Please help. Thanks.

  • @dries863 the format that options are saved in can change from version to version, so when doing this, I suggest you make sure that both sites are using the exact same version. If they’re both on the same version (4.0.1 and 4.0.1, say) you should have no problems. Hope this helps.
