• I’m very upset at an ongoing problem with WordPress. Periodically (like today), I get very powerful websites with huge traffic ruining my name and reputation with defamation and lies. They even push my own name url domain down in Google, which I’ve owned for 14 years.

When this happens, I try to redirect the pages they link to, so the heavy traffic goes elsewhere in my site, using Simple 301, or just by renaming the title, url, date of the original post.

Renaming the title or permalink is completely useless- it automatically redirects to the original post. If I change the date, or make the post private, it gives me a 404, which is equally damaging to Google’s critical eye.

PLEASE, how do I change/modify the posts to stop the malicious links from coming through, without getting 404s?
