Hi @barnesmg and thanks for reaching out to us over this,
Are you running WordPress 5.5? To just further expand on the steps you’ve already taken, it may have been due to a recent jQuery Migrate deprecation in WordPress 5.5 that hasn’t been rectified in one of your other plugins.
It may help to install the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin below to see if the issue is resolved:

If the above doesn’t fix the issue, disable all plugins other than Wordfence to see if you’re able to confirm the installation. If so, reactivate your other plugins one by one to see if any further issues with Wordfence arise. To do so I recommend the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user to prevent downtime for other site visitors.
Thanks,
Peter.
Thanks. The Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin fixed it.
Hi @barnesmg that’s great news!
Drop us another topic if you have Wordfence questions in the future, and we’ll be glad to help out.
Thanks again,
Peter.
