So I have 6 or 7 Websites all of which use the same set of plugins and them (not a multisite setup though). I’m facing this weird issue on one of these websites since the past 4 weeks or so. Where I cannot clear wordfence notifications, due to this any notification that does not auto clear itself after a scan gets stuck in my dashboard forever.

As you can see in the screenshot. I do not have the CROSS clear button on the right side like all of other websites using the same wordfence/plugin/theme settings do. They are all hosted on the same shared server as well. I have no idea what triggered it and the problem (not a problem exactly since it’s not causing any harm).

Anyway to fix this and get that CROSS back on the wordfence dashboard page ? I tried disabling each plugin and wordfence too but the problem persists and its only related to the dashboard page of wordfence.

Here is the screenshot of the issue – https://prnt.sc/fi2tr0

  • Hi,
On the Dashboard page, please check the browser console and share any error you might find there, also if you know how to use Chrome devtools, you can search (press CTRL+F while using the inspector) for all the div(s) with this class wf-dashboard-item-list-dismiss and inspect its child elements.

    Thanks.

Any chance to get a screenshot like that from your browser console?

so updating and then changing my timezone from +5:30 to Kolkata fixed it and now the notifications can finally be cleared.
