Support » Plugin: Loco Translate » Can’t change the options under “Access to file system “

    Hello,
if I change an option under “Access to file system” it automatically changes back to the already selected option.

For example, I want to change the option “Modification of installed files:” from “Do not allow” to “Allow (with warning)”. I hit save and after I reload the page it goes back to “Do not allow”.

I tried deleting Loco Translate and reinstalling it, but the problem still remains.

Any help would be really appreciated.

If you need further information let me know.

    Best regards
    Chris

    I can’t reproduce this problem.

Reinstalling the plugin won’t do anything, but try disabling all other plugins to see if something is interfering.

These settings are all held in a single WordPress site option called “loco_settings”. Any other plugin can modify the saving of this value via filters. I can’t say what is happening in your case.

I turned every plugin off, changed the settings and now it works again.

Thank you for the fast reply! 🙂

Good news. It doesn’t explain exactly what the problem was, but I’m marking as resolved for now.

If I were you I’d disable plugins one-by-one, testing for the error each time. Then you’ll know which plugin was interfering.
