Can't change Profile Email Address

I’m unable to change the email address associated with this forum (in my profile). I click “edit”, change the address, and then save the change. the next time I click edit I find that the address has reverted back to the original address.

I searched the forum and found numerous posts about this over the years. They’re all marked as closed, so I can’t comment on them. I also found several posts that state this bug has been fixed… but it hasn’t.

Any advise?
