• Hi there!

With hope someone can help us.

Since WordPress update 3.9.1, we can’t make any changes in our menu.
When trying to add or delete a page, entire menu flips.
It either partly dissapears or puts the entire menu without the jump-in thing, if you know what I mean..

Already tried deactivating plug-ins and working in another browser.
Only way to get back to a decent menu was re-upload an older imported version of the site. We still can’t make any changes, though.

Does anyone know what it could be? Do we need a patch to get this to work or work in .php?

  • Whatever this is, it is specific to your site and/or server, so no patch should be needed. It’s just a case of determining what is causing the problem. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
