Can’t change language/German version is not German

Hi,

I installed GDPR Cookie Compliance 4.15.10 in English and started configuring it. After a while I realized there is no option to change the language for the frontend, so I checked back on the download page, where I then saw a link to a German version (“this plug-in is available in German”). I deactivated the plug-in and deleted its folder in my FTP. Then I installed and activated the German version, but both front- and backend are still in English. Also, my changes to the settings were still there (e.g. colors), so I guess deleting the English version didin’t really delete everything. I tried this several times and even downloaded the German version again, but still the same. How can I change the plug-in’s language to German? How to delete the settings of the English version?
