# Can’t change Capability Settings

 * Since upgrading to version 4, I have been experiencing several issues with the
   plugin. One issue in particular is critical: I cannot change roles and permissions,
   even though a success message appears!
 * It is very easy to reproduce:
   Settings → Roles → Change Role → Success message
   appears → Reload the page → The role has not been changed.
 * A suggestion to the developers and testers: Please test the plugin before releasing
   updates. Otherwise, you will end up with many unhappy users!
