Can’t bulk generate webp on existing images

    EWWW properly handles uploaded image optimizations. However while the plugin recognizes 1412 uploaded images, bulk webp generation only works on 52 images that are outside of uploads folder (theme files).

    I have successfully converted webp images on other client sites with different servers, but I have never seen a situation like this before, where I can’t bulk generate webp.

    That’s strange, it should tell you the problem if it isn’t generating webp during a bulk optimize.
    You could also try running the Bulk Optimizer again with Force Re-optimize and WebP-only checked.

    If that doesn’t work, please do the following:
    1. Enable debugging on the support tab
    2. Clear the debug log (also on the support tab)
    3. Run a re-optimize from the media library (list mode) on one of the problematic images
    4. Turn off debugging and send over the debug.log file from the wp-content/ewww/ folder via https://ewww.io/contact-us/
    –be sure to reference this forum thread when you email so we don’t lose time trying to figure out who sent us a random file 🙂
