# can’t backup

 * Hi,
 * I just installed it yesterday and am trying to backup at very first time but 
   there is no backup button to start. I can’t click on the date in the Backups 
   calendar. Please help.

 * Thanks for installing WPTC plugin. Once you configure the settings, the backup
   will be initiated automatically. So there won’t be an option to start the first
   backup on your WordPress site. But after the primary backup is completed, you
   can initiate the incremental backups under WP Time Capsule -> Settings -> Backup-
   > Backup now.
    WPTC backups the changed files and DB on your site every day. 
   So there is no point in selecting a particular date to schedule backups. You 
   should only choose the time to schedule the backup. Hope this clears the air.
