Can’t assign CPT to Menu Item with ampersand

    Settings won’t save when a CPTs is assigned to a Menu Item that contains an ampersand.

    We make the change, save changes, and the change doesn’t “take” – the selector still says “Select Menu Item”.

    If we remove the ampersand from the Menu Item, then we are able to assign the CPT to it.

    Hi,
    yes that issue is listed under the ‘Known Issues’ section of the readme. It’s been an issue since the inception of this plugin many years ago. It had to do with how WP filters characters, but honestly I have not looked at it in many years. I’ll take a look again when I can and see if there is anything I can do.

    Thank you – I searched support for this issue, but didn’t check the readme.
