    https://ibb.co/T8z9wT2

it’s triple screen, from the left you see a site in English, in the middle site in Catalan and in the right the Spanish site don’t show the “First Time Configuration”

I believe It’s because the language of the WordPress, Yoast can’t do it in Spanish.

    A fix?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@123nadav We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

We attempted to replicate this issue on a site by setting the value for Settings>General>Site Language to Español, and then using the Yoast Test Helper plugin to reset the First time configuration process, but were unable to successfully replicate it.

Can you please confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO, version 19.6.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 6.0.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?

If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO and WordPress are up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin.

The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like TwentyTwentyOne.

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Hello @123nadav,

I see that you’re using WordPress in Spanish (Spain). While Yoast SEO has been translated to Spanish (Spain) for 102%, but it’s not yet been shipped with the plugin. You can help by translating WordPress to complete the translation to Spanish (Spain)!

I think the problem here is much more than “translation”.

I think it can be a technical issue on Spanish WordPress.
Can affect on the SEO as well (on Spanish)

    Hey @123nadav,

I was able to replicate an issue when the site is configured in “Spanish” (es) – I’m able to see that there is a react issue that prevents our settings pages from working, especially on the First time configuration tab. I’m trying to find a cause and will create an internal bug report for this. Thank you!

We were able to spot an issue in a current translation where the order of placeholders was changed in the es translation, we’re pinging some GTE’s so the Spanish team can approve our changes that will in turn fix the issue on your Spanish site when you install the translation update.

Update: the bugged translation was updated and should result in a translation update soon in your WordPress dashboard @123nadav. This should then fix the issue.

If not, please remove all the “wordpress-seo” files in the /wp-content/languages/ folder on your server, and go back to your Dashboard. Go to Dashboard > Updates and search for updates, the button to install translation updates should then show, install all the translation updates and check again.
