Can’t add room and no error in console

    Hi,

    I read that someone before me pointed out that it is not possible to add rooms, as happens in my installation, unfortunately. You replied that this could be a limitation of hosting. Now, if it were so, there should be a error message in the console, but I don’t see anything. In addition, this cloud server is managed by me, so there shouldn’t be any limitation (as far as I know, at least). I tried with both Firefox and Chrome.
    Could you please address me at least on how to debug why it doesn’t work as expected?

    Hi Peter,

    thanks for your kind and prompt reply.
    I have just installed the plug-in on another server (very different from the production one). Unfortunately, I have the same result, it is not possible to add any room. However, at least, I have something in the console.

    An error:
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘split’ of undefined at Object.success (chat.js?ver=1.8.2:457)

    Several notices, about 4-5 of them every a few seconds:
    load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,moxiejs,plupload&ver=5.0.3:4 XHR finished loading: POST “https://www.*****.it/wma/wp-admin/index.php

    Could you please help me somehow? I can provide with other details, if needed!

    Hello again,
    that’s not telling me much I’m afraid… I have tried to reproduce that behavior/error at my localhost and external hosting server, without success – everything works just fine… Can you create some test account for me so I could look into it?

    Hi Peter,

    just tried again and I see that the error I told you about is generating itself if I choose “Show weekday names” checkbox (or something similar). If I uncheck it, then everything is working properly.
    Since I don’t need this feature, I am quite happy like this. But just my two cents: the error could be generated as I have a non english installation of WP and maybe weekdays are just not defined? But I didn’t have time, unfortunately, to debug it. I hope to have a look next days, in order to understand what was going on. Eventually I will let you know here.

    Hello Fabio,

    now we have some clue, what could be wrong with it. I will try to look into it. This plugin is one of my first projects as an developer, so I need a lot time to analyze code from a scratch. I’m going to try and test it with Italian language, maybe this is a problem here. If I find it I will release plugin update for all users. Anyway, thank you very much for pointing me that bug.
