    I cannot add new subscribers to my mailing list. This is extremely important because students are registering for a class and I have to manually add them as a subscriber so they can receive their welcome and newsletters for Saturday’s class! It was working fine until it wasn’t!

  • I declare that I will non longer have anything to do with the plugin MailPoet. After consulting for many days all the tutorials I could refer, I’m not able to use it.
    If I make a test from my own PC with my mail address, all works perfectly.
    But if anyone want to subscribe to my newsletter from his PC the message inviting to check the confirmation mail does not appear. In place, the Confirmation page is showed. Checking the list their mails don’t appear of course.

    Can you let us know how you’ve added these subscribers to your list in the past?

    Do you see a particular error when you try to add these email addresses now? If yes, can you send us a screenshot of this?

    These are students that registered for a class. Upon registration, I added them to the mailing list. As it turns out, the issue was with one student’s email address only. Nothing would happen. Once I entered the email address, it simply returned to the subscriber list as it does every time. No error — the subscriber just wouldn’t be there.

    Can you please check if this email address has already been added to the list, but it’s been moved to Trash? Can you find their email address if you check the Trash?

    I have reinstalled the plugin MailPoet. After consulting for many days all the tutorials I could refer, I’m always not able to make the visitors subscribe to my newsletter. The form is installed as a widget.
    Making a test from my own PC with my mail address and connected as manager of the site, all works perfectly.
    But if anyone want to subscribe to my newsletter from his PC the message inviting to check the confirmation mail does not appear. In place, an other page is showed. Checking the list their mails don’t appear of course.
    It seems that the procedure only works when the visitor is connected, but could he be connected before having subscribe ?
    Please find a solution

    Bruna a11n, thank you for that suggestion. In fact it was in the trash and I was able to successfully restore it.
