Can't add image to page…Fatal Error Code

    I can upload an image to my Media Library, but I cannot add it to my post or page. I get a notice that read as follows:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id() in /home/rstol/public_html/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line 1173

    Does anyone know what this means?
