Hi. I’m using Popup Maker and I wnat to show a different popups for Main Page and some other pages. However when I try to add a condition, no matter what titlte or id i put the popup shows this communicate:
“The results could not be loaded”

The same problem is with all the conditions – tags, or posts.
Similar problem is with adding a popup trigger in a page – when I put the “target popup” name it says the same:
“The results could not be loaded”

    Please help.

  • Hello @martinezz123:

In the ‘Conditions’ box of the Popup Maker Admin, use the ‘Pages: Selected’ >> {page-name-1} {page-name-2} etc. feature to target specific pages for popup activation. It’s just simpler that way than using ‘page_id’. Your page names must match the page titles that you’ve assigned in the ‘Pages’ view of the WP Admin.

Where did the error message ‘The results could not be loaded’ appear? Was is in the Popup Maker Admin? Front end of the site? Can you describe the sequence of events that resulted in that error message?

    Hi. Thanks for the answer.
The error appears in the “conditiions” panel (on the top-right side of the screen) when I try to add a page name to a condition.
So I can’t add anything while creating conditions for a new popup because the field for page names remains empty after I leave it – even if I type the full page name manually.

    Hello @martinezz123:

I would like you to see if you can isolate the problem to the activation of a particular plugin or theme. http://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/332-test-whether-a-plugin-or-theme-interferes-with-popup-maker

You can also test whether your current installation of WordPress is the source of the problem by generating a free, remotely hosted site, and activating a copy of Popup Maker (and other plugins and theme) you’d like to test.

Let us know if you find anything conclusive.

That’s alot of hit and miss labor.
What’s more I’m affraid to disable my “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” becaus I may loose all the arrangement of pages I’ve built.

    Hello @martinezz123,

On a fresh install of WordPress and Popup Maker, our plugin works properly. If you’re getting an error message “The results could not be loaded”, then most likely there’s a problem produced by either another plugin, your theme, or your WordPress install itself. That’s a lot of ground to cover. But you have to isolate the possible source of the conflict.

The link I provided earlier to a test site will allow you to experiment with different combinations of plugins and theme on a current, fresh WP install. By working on a site separate from your own, you can attempt to duplicate what you’re running on your current site. That way, you may be able to isolate the source of your problem without interrupting your present site.
