  • Ignore the theme ‘editor’ option and insert your own header graphic from the WordPress admin screen under the “Appearance>Comet Options>Logo” section.

How do you do that!? I am used to a browse button or an upload button. I do not know how to manually enter a url to a logo or header image that is in my desktop, simple as it may sound – I just font know how to type in the path for that.

Do you or does anyone? Please advise. Thank you.

BTW I am in the “appearance>comet>logo” section and cannot figure it out.

Also I work on a MAC and don’t know if that could be the problem?

I am having the exact same problem. I have uploaded an image file for my new logo, placed its URL in “Appearance>Comet Options>Logo” and then I get several lines of error on my home page (in addition to the text for the original default header which I don’t want to see).

These are the lines of error code I get at the top of my home page:
Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /data/7/0/71/45/397371/user/404443/htdocs/designwithreason/wp-content/themes/comet/functions.php on line 36

Warning: getimagesize( [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /data/7/0/71/45/397371/user/404443/htdocs/designwithreason/wp-content/themes/comet/functions.php on line 36

This may have something to do with your hosting provider, which disables URL file-access. Some hosts are set up this way. To do this your theme’s author needs to use cURL to fetch the image file.
