Échec de l’activation de Sitemaps. SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token ‘<‘

sitemaps failed to activate on Jetpack
I also tried to deactivate other options, like mobile site but the error keeps coming up!

I deactivated all my plugins and kept trying but did not work.
My snow stopped yesterday too !!!

@jeherv do you have an idea what is happening, it seems to be in jetpack.
I see you are French, we have to organise a French wp meet up where I live in the south of France !!!

    thx

Could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site?

Could you also try the following:

    1. Open the dashboard page.
    2. Open your browser console
    3. Click on the Network tab
    4. Refresh the page.
    5. Try to activate a module.
    6. If you see any lines in red inside the browser console, click on them. A new panel should appear on the right.
    7. Click on the “Response” tab in that new panel.
    8. Copy the message displayed there.
    9. Paste it here.
    10. If no red lines appeared in the browser console, click on the “Console” tab of the browser console.
    11. Copy any errors displayed there, and paste them here.

Until this is fixed, you can go to this page to activate and deactivate modules:
    http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules

You’ll also find a setting to control snow at the bottom of the Settings > General screen in your dashboard.

P.S.: Je suis français, mais je suis un peu loin du sud de la France 🙂 On se verra peut être à WordCamp Europe. 😉

I restored a backup from 2 wks ago but I don’t think it was restored to my site because the changes yesterday were not wiped out and the restoration doesn’t seem to have taken place.

this was also to you Jeremy as I first started this support question with you.

Jetpack is not connecting and I keep on getting 403 errors when I try to connect different functions….I wouldn’t mind having the snow for Xmas !! 🙂

I have sent it to Alex too

I am wondering if it is because our 2 sites are subdomains?
