# Cant Activate

 * Despite what your site says and shows there is no Activate menu item in settings
   in the newly installed wpDataTables. I’ve installed it, uninstalled, reinstalled
   it several times and still no way to activate it. Checked every item in the wpDataTables
   selection in the WordPress admin.
 * Out of ideas and don’t have the patience to try to dig out something that should
   be simple to do in your addon.

   If you had the Lite/free Plugin version installed, and now you purchased
   the premium version but you can’t see the Activation Settings, this means you
   need to delete the Lite version and download your full Version in order to install
   it; but we are not able to cover more details here, because this Forum is only
   made for the Free Plugin Support.You can check the steps explained in this [Documentation](https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/general/updating-wpdatatables/#lite-to-full),
   though.Since you’re using the Premium version of the plugin, if you require any
   further advice on that subject, please open a ticket on our [main Support platform here](https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/)
   and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.
 * If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a [pre-purchase ticket](https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/submit/#100010481)
   which doesn’t require a purchase code.
