I just get a fatal error when I try to activate:

  • Hey, thanks for reaching out, I’ll do my best trying to help you out!

Do you have access to your data-base? If so, try to delete field with option_name = wp_rp_options from table wp_options.

Let me know if this helped in any way or if the problem persists!

Take care & I’m looking forward to your reply!

    Best,
    Silvo

Thanks Silvo. Removing that entry removed the error but gave a “this plugin caused a fatal error 0.” But I tried removing the wp_rp_meta entry as well (thought it could not hurt) and that seems to work. Then I was able to activate and it seems to be loading fine on the site. Thanks for the help!

Hey, that’s good news, glad you got in running back to normal! 🙂

But if you have any questions or if you stumble upon any problems in the future (let’s hope not though!), do not hesitate to let me know! I’ll gladly help!

Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo

Hey @xavyxd, I think you need the admin permissions to make the above mentioned changes.

Uhm, sorry but not definetly solves, by accessing to plugin config:

    http://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wordpress-related-posts&ref=adminbar

    I get:

You don’t have permissions enough to reach this page

    Any clue?

(obviously, I’m logged with an admin user)

Hmm, this is weird, since this message only appears to those, who don’t have all the permissions for that particular blog.

Does anybody else have access to your WP Dashboard?

The link you posted links to your host provider? Maybe they are obstructing the passage to your plugin configuration?

Let me know, I’m eager to find out!

    Best,
    Silvo

The user I am using is the only admin user. Nevertheless, I have just created a new one, and the same behaviour happens.

This is a single blog (not a multisite wordpress installation)

That link I have posted is the link to my site, but I changed my domain to mysite.com. Do you need to know the actual domain in order to diagnose what might be happening?

Hmm, I looked it up via Google and found this thread which could be helpful, no?

Let me know if any of these tips help or not, since I’m kinda sure this is more of a WordPress’s “problem” than ours.

But nonetheless — do let me know how it goes or if you need any additional assistance. I’ll gladly help!

Take care & I’m looking forward to your reply!

    Best,
    Silvo
