Hey I have a problem with accessing my back end(url/wp-admin.php). I downloaded a plugin and activated. Then I looked trough few settings and set up some password. I didn’t finish looking into a plugin and did not really see all functionalities of what it does, because I had to go and closed everything.

Now I can’t get into my back end. When I try to it just redirects me to my homepage.

    Could you please help?

Is this related to the BPS plugin or another plugin? If this is another plugin and not the BPS plugin try renaming that plugin’s folder or deleting that plugin’s folder. If this is related to the BPS plugin then…

htaccess File Troubleshooting Steps: Unable to Login to Your Website:
    1. Use FTP or your Web Host Control Panel File Manager and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder and the .htaccess file in your wp-admin folder. If you do not see the root and wp-admin htaccess files then select “Show Hidden Files” in your FTP application or in your web host control panel file manager.
    2. Log into your website, click the BPS AutoMagic Buttons and Activate all BulletProof Modes. Or if you are removing BPS do steps 3 and 4 under BPS removal steps.

htaccess Core htaccess Files Manual Removal Steps:
    1. Select the Deactivate Root Folder BulletProof Mode (Default Mode) Radio button on the Security Modes page.
    2. Select the Deactivate wp-admin Folder BulletProof Mode Radio button on the Security Modes page.
    3. Deactivate and delete the BPS plugin on the WordPress Plugins page.
    4. Go to WordPress Settings >>> Permalinks and resave your Permalink Settings.
