My website is working fine here:

But when I try to go to http://loweprunerscanada.com/wp-admin/ the address bar changes to and the browser reports "Unable to connect // Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at" (This happens in Safari as well.)

I get the same problem if I try to visit a specific admin PHP file.

The most recent changes I've made to the site are minor changes in my child theme index.php template file, and to a widget via the Dashboard.

    Any ideas?

Run upgrade using the following link though it says WP is up to date:

BTW, did you transfer database recently from your local install? The IP address in the error message is usually assigned to that.

    Right... thanks for your reply.

No, I don't even have a local install.

It's working now. I don't know why. I didn't change anything. My other WP sites hosted on the same server did not go through this. I'm marking the topic as resolved, even though nothing got figured out! ;-)

    I have the same problem!
My self-hosted site works here: http://www.roseandmint.com

But when I try to login or access admin pages it wants to redirect me to here:

The only changes I've made recently are a couple plugin updates, one of which isn't even activated. I have the version right before the latest update.

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Hi Emlovesjewelry,

    One possibility...

Your web-host could have made some change to minimize repeated denial-of-service attacks.

I think you need to contact your web-host, and they'll be able to tell you what's going on.

Apparently it's a problem with my web-host's server. They're working to fix the issue. Thanks!
