    You need to provide more details.

    What else you are running.
    If you have tried disabling other plugins.
    User level of her account.
    If it affects any other accounts.
    What you see when you login (screenshot).

    Thanks for responding. I am running woocommerce, which I believe might have something to do with it. User level is admin, it does not affect the test site.

    Recent upgrades to the latest wordpress and woocommerce. I have changed themes to the twentyten but still does not show up.

    huh, what does the appearance tab have to do with any of this? You said:

    Sorry, we fixed the access issue and but we still can’t access the menu.

    Sorry, I’m really struggling to understand your problem.

    At first you said you couldn’t access admin. Now you are saying you fixed that, and sent me a screenshot of the appearance panel.. what is the actual problem here!?

    What happens when you click on the ‘woocommerce’ menu item?

    When woocommerce was upgraded we were not able to access the backend… this was a week ago, so of course we didn’t just sit around waiting for you to respond. We are now able to access the back-end but not the menus from the screen shot you have.

    Ok, so you cannot access editor/appearance?

    I’ve never seen WC affect those areas – tbh, it doesn’t touch those areas. If you are getting things like white screens it could be a memory issue.

    For future reference, if you are a woothemes customer, use support.woothemes.com for a faster reply. And if its a real bug, report to us on github.

    And also, aside from the ‘editor’ and ‘themes’ links, the rest are added by the theme itself. Try Twenty Twelve, ensuring the theme itself is updated (they are updated separately to WP).

    Not being able to access the backend was woocommerce which is why I believe it is also messing up the appearance. But, I have been looking elsewhere for the appearance issue. What is annoying is only getting a response for the first issue after leaving one star!

    It does touch those area, if not in a around about way. There is the different users login such as shop manager which does not allow access to the menus.

    Changing the theme doesn’t help and I will not be using your product on the new site I am in the process of setting up since support is so bad. According to your profile this is the first time you have responded to the forum in 275 days! http://profiles.wordpress.org/mikejolley/

    Why did you even respond to this? You have had an attitude from your first email that is not showing up here. Yes, I received your response right after I left a bad review.

    I have an attitude because I think leaving bad reviews as a kind of ‘hostage’ to get help is bad community spirit. This is a community forum – it is not my sole responsibility to reply to you.

    The reason you didn’t get any responses anyway was probably because no other users (like me) have ever faced the same issue and you were not clear enough with your thread. You didn’t even update your thread when your problem changed!
