# Can’t Access WordPress FullStop.

 * The problem I found is really annoying, and my own personal mistake. I installed
   the wordpress myself, and as you know it asked me for my email etc. on installing.
   So firstly I made the mistake of putting the wrong email in, by accident.
 * Next I got an automatic password, which I’ve forgotten, so I cannot access my
   admin panel.
 * And hence I cannot re-set my password, because my email isn’t right either. (
   Which I only Noticed when I tried to re-set my password)
 * Now I tried to register on hotmail the wrong email I installed wordpress with,
   but it’s already registered.
 * Is there anyway I can recover from this?

 * Seeing the emailaddress you tried to register with hotmail already exists, means
   that someone else now has your password..!!
 * I’d recommend to login to phpmyadmin and open the wp_users table. Then open your
   account and delete the password (user_pass field). Go to [http://calc.wpmudev.org/md5.php](http://calc.wpmudev.org/md5.php)
   and insert a new password, then click submit. Copy the outcome and paste that
   into the user_pass field of wp_users and save.
 * You should now be able to login with your new password (and editing your email
   address would be a good idea 😉 ).
