At my work, we have a blog through WordPress. We use VisiStats to track how many people view each page. To add this tracking code, I was told to go to our wordpress page, click the appearance tab, then the editor tab, and then to add it to the code.
I did that, and then an error message came up, and now I can’t even access my account so I can just delete what I added.
I was wondering if anybody could please help me gain access to my account or who I should contact about this.
You should contact your site designer and host http://www.ezsolution.com/
Do you remember what file you edited?
I think I was in the function.php section.
What should I say to EZ Solutions? We actually have someone else in charge of our blog. Does that make any difference?
You can use ftp to replace the themes function.php file if you have a clean copy. Using ftp delete the old file and then upload the new.
We actually have someone else in charge of our blog.
You might want to contact them.
I did call them, and they said to contact WordPress.
Since I can’t access the account, I don’t think that I’ll be able to delete the theme and upload a new one.
You should have access to files and database thru your hosting company.

. And they said to call WordPress? What exactly do they do for you? Do you actually give them money?
Yes, they are the ones who set up our WordPress. They just gave us the login information.
I’ll call them about this again.
The error message is:
500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
The people who we use said to contact WordPress again. Does this error message help at all?
