  • Many hosts experienced problems due to mass attacks recently and temporarily disabled access to wp-admin and/or wp-login.php as a result. Your hosts may be one of them. Try contacting them about it.

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

what should I do to resolve the issue? Is there any other option? I talked to my hosting company but hey told me that it is a wordpress problem.

Delete the install and try installing WordPress manually.

    site url is specialeventz.com

The “main domain” set for the CPanel site has already been configured. Therein lies my problem.
How would I make wordpress work with the addon domain? Where do I install it?
My webhosting is already configured with one of my earlier domain. And I want to install wordpress on this new domain.

Check with your hosts that you’re actually installing WordPress in your root domain folder.

I have addon domain in my webhosting as another domain. My webhosting is already configured with another domain so I just addon another one.
While addon domain I have added in directory ‘home/public_html’
Under the directory ‘home/public_html’ there is already one wordpress install for previous domin.

when I install wordpress, all file goes into the folder ‘specialeventz’ under the directory ‘home/public_html/specileventz’ all files get copied with permission 775.

    Is it a right procedure?

That sounds about right to me.

when I install wordpress, all file goes into the folder ‘specialeventz’ under the directory ‘home/public_html/specileventz’ all files get copied with permission 775.

The permission on your folders should be 755 and files 644
