I’m totally new to this stuff and am not a good at programming whatsoever but I’m learning. So I hope you be patient with me.

Anyways, I’ve set up wordpress for my site and everything and was wondering how to change the directory to my root directory. At first when signing up, wordpress gave it a temp domain and then I tried to change the wordpress URL at the admin General Settings. I stupidly typed in “/wordpress” into the temp address they gave me EG:

And now the website appears all patchy and 404 page not found. How do I go about restoring back to what it was before?

  • Edit: I forgot to mention that my host is bluehost, and so I’ve uninstall the website from bluehost and this time properly install wordpress under my domain (The site is new and empty).

Thanks all for reading this anyways 🙂
