canonical urls and view posts via taxonomy
-
Hi,
I am thinking about making dynamic pages where posts with specific tags are listed.
For that I tried ‘content views’ plugin:
https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/content-views-query-and-display-post-page/As a result a post will be displayed on different pages at the same time by having more than one tag (e.G. Excel and Charts). So the same content is there twice.
To avoid to have the same post scanned by google twice the suggested solution is to use canonical urls. But the whole system works dynamically now and I do not want to check every page manually.
Does Yoast SEO help in this case?
Does it anything automatically to set the canonical urls?I found this documentation, but my version 3.07 looks different: no canonical things listed under ‘advanced’. And there are no tabs but separate entries on the left side.
