Canonical URL Not Changing for Second Language on Category Pages with TranslateP

I am currently using the Rank Math SEO plugin alongside TranslatePress to build a multilingual website. I’ve encountered an issue with the canonical URL, specifically on category pages. When I switch to the second language (e.g., from English to Vietnamese), the canonical URL in the page source remains the URL of the default language instead of updating to the URL of the active language. This issue only occurs on post category pages, not on other pages.

For example:

• Default language category: https://example.com/category/news/ (English)
• Second language category: https://example.com/vi/category/news/ (Vietnamese)
• The canonical URL on the Vietnamese category page still shows https://example.com/category/news/ instead of https://example.com/vi/category/news/.

This could potentially affect SEO, as I’d like each language’s category page to have its own corresponding canonical URL based on the active language’s URL. I’ve checked the settings in both Rank Math SEO and TranslatePress but haven’t found a solution yet.
