It seems you’re using the Yoast SEO Premium plugin on your website and issue might be related to it. Unfortunately, per the forum guidelines, we cannot answer questions about our premium products. For questions about these products, please contact our support team directly.

Thank you for the fast answer.

Sorry, I have now switched to Yoast SEO (not premium) and it works in the same way.

Thanks for activating the Yoast SEO free. We looked at the relevant page on your site and were able to reproduce the issue. We see the Yoast SEO isn’t generating the rel="next" and rel="prev" canonical on the paginated archives.

The issue you are experiencing here when there’s something wrong with the paginated archives. Can you please confirm how exactly did you create the relevant paginated archives? Is it a custom post type that you’ve created manually?

Note: if you have the Yoast SEO Premium subscription, we can take a look at your setup since you have access to our premium support.

    Hello,

Thank you for your swift response. We are using WooCommerce standard Shop page and it is its built-in functionality. But we also tested this with a default theme and free Yoast version and it works in the same way. You can see this here (it is a test site)

Hey @codeger, please remove the login credentials from your submitted thread as quickly as possible as this is a public forum and everyone has access to it. So, it will be a huge security concern.

On the other hand, as mentioned before already, this is a public forum where we can address issues specific to Yoast SEO free only. So, if you have an active Yoast premium subscription, please do feel free to send us an email directly at support@yoast.com where we can investigate the issue privately for you.

Don’t worry, it is a safe WP testing tool and this website will be removed soon.
And this problem is not related to the premium version since Yoast SEO (free version) installed there.

    Hi,

We would like some more information.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    2. If you briefly deactivate Yoast SEO (free) and clear all your caching and then re-activate it, does the issue resolve?

    (@codeger)

    Hello,

    1. It is a new installation with the latest version of WP, theme, WooCommerce and Yoast.

    2. We don’t use any caching. We tested this on 3 different websites including a fresh installation and it works the same.

Please, check it on your side on a fresh WordPress installation with default configuration for Yoast plugin.

    Thank you in advance.
