    Hi,

can you make your great SEO plugin finally compatible with paginated static front pages please?

The canonical tag on page /2/, /3/ and so on points straight to the main page aká page one.

And the next/prev markup is missing too.

This issue persists for years now (it were discussed in 2013 here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/437 ). It would be really great to get a fix for this. I think I’m speaking for a lot of publishers that suffers from the same issue.

    Thank you!

That’s the demo of my theme. As you see the canonical tag is pointing to the main page and there are no next/prev tags.

I have this theme and facing the same issue on my testing environment. And YES I selected the affected page under WordPress reading settings → Posts page options.

    Thank you!
