# Cannot wget wordpress.org

 * 1.I am not able to wget wordpress.org from server 63.143.51.2.
    2.I am able to
   wget other sites like google.com
 * Error I am getting is as follows :

   17– [http://wordpress.org/](http://wordpress.org/) Resolving wordpress.org… 72.233.56.139
   Connecting to wordpress.org|72.233.56.139|:80…
 * Any help is highly appreciated.

 * Why are you trying to download the homepage of wordpress.org like that? Al that
   will do is give you a HTML page. If you’re trying to download the wordpress software,
   then get the proper URL from the download page.
