I have downloaded the language pack for the greek Language from the git repo. I have placed the .mo & .po files in “wp-content/languages/woocommerce”. I have also copied them to “wp-content/languages/plugins” and finally in “wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce” but with no luck. When I change the website’s language, using WPML and the drop down menu it creates in the header menu, I still see the english strings in cart etc. So the cart displays “No available products” instead of the same thing in greek. I want to run two languages on my website. I have been googling for this for two days now and no luck. Everything is in english. Changing the website’s language to Greek either from the wp-config or from the wordpress settings does nothing.
I cannot believe that it is THIS difficult to do a multi-language website in 2014.
I am using workers 4.0, the BRIDGE theme, WPML and some various extra WPML plugins (string translator etc). I am also using CodeStyling Localization, where I see that Woocommerce has the greek po and mo files but STILL no visible translations in my website. I must be doing something very wrong. Please help

Solution found. In case this helps anyone.
I am using the Greek localisation. Which means the greek iso is “el”. Woo commerce files are like this “woocommerce-el_GR.mo”, which means they have the “el_GR” and not “el” extension. Rename this to just “el” and it will work. Oh, don’t forget, the correct path in wordpress 4.0.x is “wp-content/languages/plugins/”. So the file has the path “wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce-el.mo”.
