# Cannot view recovered age

 * I accidentally deleted a page and easily recovered it from Trash. I can see it
   on the published pages list and can edit it using the ‘edit” option. However,
   when I try to view the page, I cannot see it. A child page is displayed instead.
   The same thing happens when navigating the site externally (i.e. selecting the
   page in question returns the child page).
 * All permalinks and page names of the problem page look fine. This appears to 
   be a navigation problem but I can’t see a way to fix it.

 * Try:
    – flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server 
   and/or browser caches.
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – re-saving your current permalink structure at wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks.

 * Thanks Keesie. I didn’t need to go through your entire list of suggestions. I
   am not running a caching plugin so that did not apply. I did flush my browser
   cache. Don’t know how to flush my server cache so skipped that one.
 * Before deactivating all of my plugins, I decided to start with suspicious plugins
   that were involved with the problem page. Deactivated the first one and then 
   retested and voila, problem solved! I am very happy that I did not have to go
   further.
