The text blocks themselves are set to not have a permalink but to be included in other parts of your pages and templates.

Hi Hal, yes I understand that but what I am referring to is under the list of text blocks I have created, they are not displayed so I cannot edit them. I have deactivated every other plugin (except for one must use plugin, “WP Db Abstraction”) and I am using the standard theme but it does not fix it. We are using WordPress on MSSQL Server 2008 so maybe this is causing an issue?

Sorry I misunderstood. That is very strange. Can you tell me which browser you are using?

It could be that. I didn’t even know it was possible to use WordPress with MSSQL.

I have tried with IE, Firefox, and Chrome. Yes we have WordPress installed on MSSQL with IIS.

Hmm, have you successfully installed any other plugins that use custom post types? This is a new one for me and I don’t have access to a WP on MSSQL setup.

I tried installing another plugin that does something similar, and had a similar issue.

What is strange with yours is after I create the text block, I can take the short link and place it in a page and it displays properly. So the data is there somewhere, but I cannot view or edit the text blocks that have already been created.

Hi Hal, I did more searching on the web and found this was indeed a problem with this abstraction plugin for MSSQL Server. It is something not specific to your plugin, but rather to a lot of the lists in the admin (such as displaying a list of posts) – a line of code needed to be changed in one of the php files (in case you’re interested, http://sourceforge.net/p/wp-sqlsrv/bugs/10/).

Thanks for your help, your plug-in is great!
