    Hi,

I can view the entire content of all of my courses when creating or editing the content however when I switch to view the course in SenseiLMS the left hand side bar reads as expected. There is a lesson heading at the top of the main screen; however, there is no text on any of the pages.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting this problem as I don’t know where to start.

    Best regards,

    Phil

    Hi @philip-cullen,

From what you described, it sounds like your course structure (sidebar and lesson headings) is showing correctly, but the actual lesson content area is blank when viewing the course. This can sometimes happen if there’s a theme or plugin conflict affecting how Sensei content is displayed on the front end.

Here are a few steps to help narrow it down:

    1. Double check to make sure the course/lesson has a status of “Published” — it isn’t saved as a draft.
    2. Switch temporarily to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) and check if the lesson content appears. If it does, that suggests your current theme may be overriding or hiding the lesson content template.
    3. Test with only Sensei LMS active by deactivating other plugins temporarily. If the content reappears, re-enable your plugins one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
    4. Confirm you’re using the latest Sensei version.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply to my request for help.

I have checked that all of the courses, module and lessons are published.

I switched to the Twenty Twenty-Four theme and the problem is still the same . In LMS Learning Mode I see the left hand menu, the page title at the top of the page however no course content.

I’ve also deactivated all of the plugins except Sensei LMS, and the problem remains with the course text not being visible.

Finally, I am using the latest version of SenseiLMS and Sensei Pro. I’ve even reinstalled both of them just in case.

These course were viewed by me and my students up until quite recently without problem. Additionally I have other websites with the same tech stack and similar type of courses that are perfectly ok.

So, that’s why it’s proving so tricky to sort out.

    Best regards,

    Phil

    Hi,

My problem is now solved. All I had to do was go into Sensei LMS and change the Learning Mode template from default to Modern. Problem solved.

    Hi Phil,

That’s great to hear — I’m glad switching the Learning Mode template to Modern resolved the issue! 🎉

It sounds like you’re all set, so I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved, but if the issue returns, feel free to reopen the thread or start a new one.
